Bette Boersma made the journey from her acceptance of subordination to her belief in biblical equality while raising four teenagers, earning her BA, and working as a writer. She currently serves as steering committee secretary for the Grand Rapids, Michigan, chapter of Christians for Biblical Equality and is a consultant in a Discover Your Ministry (spiritual gifts) program through her local church.
