|He swore to them by Allah that he did not take the armour or have any knowledge about it||The armour was in a sack of ground wheat|

|We reveal unto thee the Scripture with the truth, that thou mayst judge between mankind by that which Allah showeth thee [4:105] up to His words ﾅWhoso ascribeth partners unto Allah hath wandered far astray [4:116]||Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed|
The Messenger of Allah, Allah bless him and give him peace, was on the verge of doing as he was requested ﾗ for his heart was with them ﾗ and punish the Jew when Allah, exalted is He, revealed Lo! Verily, Allah forgives not the sin of setting up partners in worship with Him, but He forgives whom He wills, sins other than that, before Ayah 48 and mentioned the relevant Hadiths in the beginning of this Surah.
