Lidija Novakovic addresses the question whether marriage is a category that is "beyond justice." She highlights the biblical foundation of equality in marriage with passages such as Genesis 1:27, 2:24, 1 Cor. 1:1-7, Eph. 5:21-33 and 1 Peter 3:1-7. Lidija also examines the relation between affection and justice in contemporary marriage, with focus on legal issues, both economic and social, interpersonal issues, and ways of combining affection and justice.
