The African church is growing up and becoming mission-minded, globalized, and mature. We need to recognize that the task is too big for one tribe, one generation, one nation, or one sex; we all need to work together to take the whole gospel to the whole world.

ESME BOWERS is the Southern Africa Regional Leader for the Pan African Christian Womens Alliance (PACWA). She serves as International Chairperson for the Board of African Evangelistic Enterprise and travels extensively in Africa, training leaders. She is also on the Lausanne Committee, involved in planning the Lausanne III: Cape Town 2010 Congress. She currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband.
